It's all about me

in my own words

I grew up in the north east of England the youngest of three boys. Piano in the living room, guitar in the bedroom and drums in the garage. Being left handed didn't get in the way, I studied jazz piano, classical and electric guitar and was the singer in a couple of bands in my youth. Stiff records had an interest but we were not prepared to move to London for a bag of peanuts each week. For the better, me thinks.. At that time I was always writing songs but was never satisfied with the recorded results.

Now I'm older and wiser with rheumatism in both wrists, but this doesn't stop me writing songs and producing my own music with musician friends who enjoy my tunes.

I live in the country with the wife and our two whippets, away from the light pollution. I enjoy life.
